Happy Friday the 13th! Celebrate with the Original 1980 Movie Trailer!

Can you even imagine going into a horror movie in which the trailer pretty much counted down all the deaths for you before you watched?

Well, that's exactly what the frailer for the original Friday the 13th did for fans.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

When Kevin Bacon gets into that bed, either you have to know he's about to bite the dust, or maybe you can suspend your disbelief and think his friend is about to play a prank on him. Yeah, that's it. Pranks!

They're all the victims of pranks. Nope. The trailer counts down deaths one by one. Wow.

And you know what? It didn't stop us from going. Yes, I was a weeee young child back in the day, and me and my friends begged an older brother to take us to the movie.

We were still shocked as all get out to see our favorite characters killed.

I have to wonder how frequently we were exposed to movie trailers. Were they on TV all the time or only playing along with other movies.

If you think about it, there were only three networks and limited visibility for movie trailers to be seen.

I don't know if it's the nostalgia factor, or that the movie just holds up, but I still enjoy watching Friday the 13th every time I watch it, and every time I watch, it's a standard pairing which includes part one and part 2.

A genuine double feature.

Parts one and two are definitely the best of the best when it comes to the movie versions, and as much as Jared Padalecki rocks in modern times, he did nothing to persuade me that the reboot of Friday the 13th? was worth a second viewing. Sorry JarPad!

We're making it really easy to watch Friday the 13th online and to watch Friday the 13th Part 2 online today, so go ahead and do it. Jason Vorhees is coming for you either way. Ch ch ch ha ha ha.
