Hitman: Agent 47 Trailer – You Won’t Know What Hit You

A new TV spot was released for the upcoming Rupert Friend starrer Hitman: Agent 47, but it just didn't feel right for it to be the first trailer we posted on Movie Fanatic when we had longer, more action oriented fare to share. So here we are. I don't know much about the Hitman games, to be honest, but I know a lot about Rupert Friend's capabilities to kill, thanks to his role as Quinn on Homeland. Dude can definitely […]

Jared Leto’s SUICIDE SQUAD Rat Is with This Famous Director

The production of the Suicide Squad movie has been interesting for a number of reasons. Not only is it an excitingly different kind of superhero film—one that tells the story from the villain point of view—but it’s serving as the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice follow-up in the DC Movie Universe. Director David Ayer assembled a wonderfully diverse cast to bring the story to life, but interest is understandably high on Jared Leto’s iteration of The Joker. Rumors have […]

Comic-Con 2015: Hall H Wristband Rules

Anyone who's been to San Diego Comic-Con knows that navigating the lines for Hall H can be quite the headache. With that in mind, there are some changes coming to the current wristband system, aka the "Toucan Trackers", that aim to ease concerns about sleeping out overnight, line-cutters, and scheduling conflicts. Here are the particulars: Toucan Tracker wristbands will be given out the night before each Hall H panel. For example, Saturday wristbands will be given out on Friday night. […]

Michael Bay’s Benghazi Movie 13 HOURS Gets Early 2016 Release Date

Paramount Pictures has announced a release date and expanded title for director Michael Bay’s next film, which does not involve robots. 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi will hit theaters on January 15, 2016, which is the same weekend that this year’s American Sniper went wide and subsequently became the highest grossing film of 2014 (it counts as a 2014 movie because it first opened in limited release on Christmas). It is currently unclear if Bay’s film will—gasp—get an Oscar-qualifying run […]

See Nicolas Cage Play the GAME OF THRONES as Every Major Character

Game of Thrones may have ended with some controversy this season, but what is never controversial is Nicolas Cage being Photoshopped onto images. Especially if those images happen to be Game of Thrones characters. He’s thoughtful as Eddard Stark, burdened as the Mother of Dragons, angry as Arya, confused as Bran, seductive as Margaery Tyrell, and super excited as Ramsay Bolton. And the Stannis one is … oddly on point. Some of the images are better than others, but I […]

Jason Hall to Make Directorial Debut on THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

It's been a while since we saw any progress on the PTSD film Thank You for Your Service, the big-screen adaptation of David Finkel's non-fiction book that focuses on veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. When last we visited this project, Steven Spielberg was rumored to be directing from a script by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Jason Hall. The American Sniper scribe has already completed his draft, but new reports have Hall making his directorial debut on the picture as well. As THR reports, DreamWorks acquired the […]

TERMINATOR GENISYS Review: Stop Coming Back

Studios seem to struggle with how to reboot a franchise. Do they attempt to pull a Star Trek where an alternate timeline keeps the previous material intact while making way for a new adventure? Do they go even more hardcore like X-Men: Days of Future Past and wipe away most of the previous movies from canon? Or do they go with the Superman Returns route and just ignore the crappy sequels? Franchise building is monumentally important to the modern day […]
