Deliver Us From Evil Exclusive: Eric Bana on How Playing Real Person Is "Awkward"

In Deliver Us From Evil, Eric Bana portrays a real life NYPD detective, Ralph Sarchie, as the film chronicles his battle solving crimes based on demonic possession. Having the real Ralph Sarchie on the set, Bana admitted, was a priceless asset to bringing the Deliver Us From Evil story to life -- particularly for him as he plays him! Check out this Deliver Us From Evil clip for more on the real Sarchie, and you can see also that it could […]

Star Wars Episode VII: Kevin Smith Sheds Nerd Tears After Set Visit

Filmmaker Kevin Smith is somewhat of a geek policeman. Smith is held in such high regard that he is invited to sets across the globe to give his stamp of approval and also shown things that we dream of seeing -- like, he was the first to see the Ben Affleck batsuit!  Smith has taken to his Instagram account and posted the photo below after a visit to the London set of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII.  And yes, those […]

Jerry Bruckheimer Exclusive: Beverly Hills Cop 4 and Top Gun 2 Updates

When we caught up with Deliver Us From Evil producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently, we had to take a minute to ask him about two upcoming projects of his that are making headlines -- Beverly Hills Cop 4 and Top Gun 2.  From the news that Beverly Hills Cop 4 will feature the return of Eddie Murphy's Axel Foley to Michigan, his comments in our exclusive video interview add fuel to that fire.  So, what did he say about seeing Tom Cruise back as Maverick in the upcoming Top […]

21 Most Patriotic Movies: America, F-ck Yeah!

Hollywood can wave the red, white and blue as good as anyone. Some of our greatest movies are also our most patriotic. As we celebrate the Fourth of July, Movie Fanatic thought it was a good time to look back through the archives and discover those films that make us supremely proud to be Americans. And we found 21 that make us wrap ourselves in the flag. Watch Forrest Gump online and that Tom Hanks-starring Oscar winner is largely the […]

Marvel Studios has released three new character posters for Guardians of the Galaxy. And coming off that hot Guardians of the Galaxy UK trailer, you know anticipation could not be higher for the August 1 release.  The three characters who get the spotlight with fresh character one-sheets are Zoe Saldana's Gamora, the Vin Diesel-voiced Groot and the Bradley Cooper-voiced Rocket Raccoon (who just may be our favorite Guardian).  Chris Pratt also stars as Star Lord and Dave Bautista is Drax.  This is the […]

Tammy: Melissa McCarthy Says "Reality, It’s Always Funnier!"

With the arrival of Tammy in theaters July 2, it is truly a special moment for married couple Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone. As teased in the Tammy trailer, McCarthy stars in the comedy that marks the directing debut of her husband and frequent co-star (he can be seen famously appearing with her when you watch Bridesmaids online). McCarthy and Falcone wrote the screenplay together and the film’s arrival marks the end of an effort that began six years ago. […]

Hot on the news we ran last week that a Fox studio head said that Bryan Singer would direct X-Men: Apocalypse, the helmer took to Instagram today with a special treat for fans who made his X-Men: Days of Future Past a huge summer hit. It’s the first page of the screenplay treatment for the follow-up, X-Men: Apocalypse. And from the looks of it, the scene takes place along the Nile in Egypt which (spoiler alert!) goes right along with […]

Transformers Age of Extinction Quotes: Get My Alien Gun!

Transformers: Age of Extinction ruled the box office this weekend, to the tune of $100 million. It's the first film to open that large in all of 2014!  Although critics panned the film, audiences turned out in droves to see Mark Wahlberg step into the franchise and push the Michael Bay film series to new heights. And there is one thing that Wahlberg does really, really well -- he delivers memorable action movie quotes like nobody's business.  Then again, Transformers has […]

James Bond 24 Production Delayed: License to be Funny

As we heard from Ralph Fiennes, James Bond 24 was set to start production in October. After the success of Skyfall, we are more than ready for the next chapter of the Daniel Craig era of the man who has a license to kill. Guess what? We’re going to have to wait a little longer as production of the 24th Bond movie has been delayed by a couple of months so that a little humor can be injected into the action-heavy […]
